Kris FitzGerald - Director
Kris has been a Maleny resident for thirty years and has a wide range of personal and professional experience assisting people with diverse abilities. She provides continued support to her husband and two children, all of whom have a disability. Kris has also worked for sixteen years as a Teacher Aide in Learning Support at Maleny State High School, assisting students with ASD, ESL, learning difficulties and dyslexia.
Craig Cole - Facilitator
An educator and support worker, Craig has taught art and music at TAFE where he was involved in the formation of Sunshine Coast all-abilities band, The Outsiders. An accomplished musician, Craig has played in numerous bands and has most recently been performing as a solo musician under the moniker, Ol’ King Coel. He is an award-winning photographer whose work has been exhibited in galleries across Australia.
Linda Walker - Facilitator
Linda has over twenty years experience in disability support, aged care and community support. She worked as the In Home and Community Support Developer for the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland and taught Disability Work at Sunshine Coast TAFE. Most recently, Linda was the Creative Programs and Volunteer Coordinator at Immanuel Gardens, developing lifestyle and leisure activities for individuals with age-related conditions and people with a disability, including pet therapy and music therapy.
Victoria Ashton-Martin - Facilitator
Victoria is a dedicated support worker and advocate who has worked extensively with people with a disability, namely the mentoring of young women to improve daily life skills, coordinating local support systems, assisting with personal care and serving as an advisor on vocational and educational pathways.
